100 percent charged in 19 minutes

The world is witnessing new creations of technology every day. This time Xiaomi has shown a demo of the new 60-watt wireless charging system to add a different dimension to the fast charging competition.

According to technology media outlet The Verge, the 80-watt charging system can charge 50 percent of a 4,000 mAh battery in eight minutes and 19 percent in 19 minutes.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi claims that the new wireless charging system will outperform any other company's charging system. Xiaomi has released a video showing a demo of the new charging technology on a modified MI10 Pro smartphone.

Xiaomi has been experimenting with wireless charging technology for a long time. Earlier, Xiaomi had introduced wireless charging technology in the MI MIX 2S smartphone. That phone had 6.5-watt fast charging support. Then the MI MIX3 phone is given charging support of ten watts. After launching the MI 9 smartphone last year, the company gave it twenty watts fast charging.

Another Chinese smartphone brand, Oppo, recently announced that the 45-watt charging technology will fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 30 minutes. However, so far the company has not brought any smartphone of this technology to the market.

 

Xiaomi has not yet announced when the new 60-watt wireless charging technology smartphone will hit the market. For several years now, the company has been bringing high-speed wireless charging technology to the smartphone market.
